"The property is well located for our travels Being a Canadian we love De Valk as it is very similar to our better local hotels The rooms the service the food and the people are amazing We found that Holland was not as clean as we are used to Walking around downtown Zwolle was very disappointing garbage and weeds everywhere"

"We loved the character of the property. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was good. The staff were helpful. We enjoyed the little garden with plenty of shade from trees. 15 minute walk from the bus and train stations was manageable with luggage. We would stay here again."

"Staff was friendly and helpful. Responded to our needs very quickly. Was unaware our room had no air conditioning. It really should be noted so there is no disappointment and your rating will be imlroved with this knowledge. Also elevator was not working and walking up to second (with 0 being ground floor) was difficult for older guest (me!) with luggage. This should have been noted prior to check in even if it was temporary. Again best to expose than hide facts of stay."
